Ron’s 30+ year manufacturing career included assignments in Operating Line Management and Supervision, as well as over 20 years in Health and Safety. Ron is a Certified Safety Professional and an experienced trainer and Root Cause Analyst. In addition to assisting organizations with their Human Performance educational and training efforts, Ron’s professional passion is helping organizations integrate these concepts into their daily operations and achieve breakthrough results. Ron lives in Bettendorf Iowa, where, after spending 25 years coaching and officiating youth soccer, volleyball, and basketball, he now enjoys bicycling, boating, and traveling in his spare time.
Judy has been teaching people in manufacturing about Human Performance for over eight years. Her skills and experience help her to reach people in all levels of an organization; from the worker on the shop floor, all the way up to the Directors of a business. Judy is retired from Alcoa, where she worked as a front line supervisor, a department manager and a plant systems manager. Since joining FIT, she has traveled around the world teaching people of many countries and cultures how to embrace and be passionate about the Science of Human Performance. She teaches worker classes, supervisor classes, manager classes and advocate/train-the-trainer classes. Judy and her husband reside in Iowa.
Randy’s passion is to provide tools and strategies to improve safety, personal interactions, and communications, both at home and work. Randy draws on work experiences from the electric power industry and his earlier work with Rob Fisher during the initial introduction of Human Performance in the nuclear power industry. Randy participated with the recent evolution of combining the general science of Human Performance with individual personality tendencies, which has given FIT professionals a new tool to help our clients effectively interact with others at a completely different level. Since joining FIT, Randy has consulted with high risk industry clients in the US, Thailand, and Netherlands. Randy lives in central Texas with his wife, and enjoys traveling and spending time with their children.
Rick led incident investigation teams in the commercial nuclear power industry for over two decades prior to joining FIT, and has trained Root Cause Analysts in numerous countries. He was among the first to integrate Human Performance principles into Root Cause Analysis approaches, and successfully managed the Corrective Action Program for a major corporation. Rick is a co-author of IEEE Standard 1707-2015, Recommended Practice for the Investigation of Events at Nuclear Facilities. Rick, a veteran of the US Navy submarine service, enjoys outdoor activities and resides with his family in Kent, Ohio.
Ray is FIT’s E-CHP Manager and Support Manager for illumitask, an electronic Pre-Task Brief and Observations suite. Prior to joining FIT, he was a Project Manager for a supply chain consulting firm for 13 years where he used proven Human Performance technologies to achieve multiple successes on large retrofit projects of major warehouses. The integration of this technology allowed the work to be completed on time, on or under budget, with zero interruption in product delivery. Ray derives considerable satisfaction from knowing that the concepts that he helps people understand and integrate into their lives will allow them to go home each day and hug their families. Ray lives near Orlando, Florida with his wife and daughter, where they enjoy supporting the University of Central Florida football team, attending concerts, and taking relaxing vacations.
Stew joined the FIT team in the fall of 2015. Although Stew has served in the military, operated a nuclear power plant, worked as a generation dispatcher and controller, worked in the banking industry as a loan officer, worked in ministry as a youth director, and worked in the medical field as an education director for a wellness company, he has been able to see Human Performance at work in each industry. Stew lives in Round Rock, TX with his wife of 30 years, 3 adult children and two granddaughters.
Dan is the FIT Project Leader for Australia. He began his career in the timber industry, where he worked in various operational and safety roles over a period of twenty five years. Dan moved from timber to mining/refining/smelting as safety manager. Dan elected to join FIT in 2015 after experiencing firsthand the positive impact that Human Performance had across a large organization. Dan and his wife Lisa live in Australia and are the parents of four adult children. They enjoy summers sailing on the west coast of North America.
Financial andTechnical Manager
Justin worked in restaurant management while he developed his skills in electronic technologies. He joined FIT in 2011, and has been instrumental in developing the FIT web and social media presence. He also develops and manages the FIT and E-CHP media library, which helps potential trainers learn how to affect change. Justin lives with his family in Concord, NC.
Brianna’s role includes interfacing with clients, scheduling consultants, coordinating regional and open-enrollment courses, as well as designing marketing materials. She joined FIT in 2006 and established an online, iOs-friendly task management system for use within the company in order to streamline and simplify communication between FIT team members. Brianna lives on her family farm with her husband Dusty and daughter Mackenzie in Concord, NC. In her spare time, she enjoys creating handmade bath and body products.
